I have performed many thousands of eye operations for over 30 years as an eye surgeon. I am committed to providing the latest, personalised, high quality and outcome treatment for my patients.  This has been possible  due to my extensive training following which I was appointed as Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Birmingham & Midland Eye Centre in 2001. This is a tertiary referral hospital and I treat complex patients from across the country. I have trained many vitreoretinal surgeons from UK and overseas and have taught at national and international courses. I was the first surgeon in UK to use 3D technology for eye surgery. I have published in prestigious journals and have lead clinical trials in to new drugs.
